About this workshop

Do you have to create or give PowerPoint presentations and feel like you are struggling to produce the sorts of interesting and dynamic slides you would like?  This is a hands-on workshop that will make sure you have all the technical skills you need to produce great looking slides.  The workshop will also look at what makes slides effective and engaging (and less dominated by bullet points).

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:

  • Produce an effective presentation on PowerPoint
  • Have a grounding in good slide design
  • Structure your overall presentation

Who is this workshop for?

Any student or researcher who needs a crash course in Microsoft PowerPoint.

This workshop is run by a Library Skills Adviser with the support of trained student Skills Leaders
