Peer-Assisted Student Success

PASS is an internationally-recognised scheme, based upon collaborative learning, where students come together in a safe environment to study. Typically, but not always, PASS sessions involve higher-year student volunteers know as PASS Leaders, working in pairs with small groups of first-year students in weekly, timetabled sessions. PASS Leaders are facilitators and not teachers. PASS Leaders offer peer support and guidance to other students by using their previous experience of studying at the University of Hull. The topics covered in PASS sessions are completely student driven. It could focus on a recent lecture, a difficult theory or concept, or even an upcoming assignment.

If you have a question contact and a member of the team will get back to you.
