Mental Health and Wellbeing Support and Resources for Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs): Jonathan's Voice - Support for PG Mental Health

Our Resources for Postgraduate Research Students

Our charity was set up in 2017 in memory of Jonathan McCartney who tragically took his own life that year.

We aim to reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues and to empower people to speak up and reach out for help when they need it. We work closely with organisations to raise awareness and support them to develop better mental health and wellbeing practices.

A focus of our work is supporting and developing good mental health for post-graduate research students in STEM subject areas.  In conjunction with the Charlie Waller Trust we have recently published a guide for PGR students which is evidence based and offers practical guidance in overcoming some of the common pitfalls within a research journey.  The guide is relevant to all PGRs.
