Mental Health and Wellbeing Support and Resources for Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs): Doctoral College activities for PGRs

Responding to your feedback to the PGR MHWB Survey - November 2022

PGR Drop-In sessions

Click here to see the dates of the upcoming sessions and to book on using the quick name and email registration form.

The PGR Drop-In Sessions are being re-introduced in response to feedback from PGRs in the recent Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey and the PRES 2021 survey.

All PGRs are welcome to attend any of these informal sessions - whether you stay for the whole session, call in to ask a question, or just 'drop-in' to have a chat.

A member of the Doctoral College team and other PGRs will be available to talk to to give informal advice and support on the PhD process and journey, the University in general or just to socialise.  You may just fancy a coffee and a catch up, you may be feeling lonely, isolated or overwhelmed. Whatever the reason we'll be very happy to see you!

If you do have any questions we can't answer on the day we will signpost you to the relevant services and people.

We have in the past offered 'Board Game Time' and 'Craft Time' and we can do so again or we can do something different, just let us know.

These activities are dependent on PGRs taking part, so we'll keep running them if you keep turning up and telling us what you want.

Look forward to seeing you there.

If you have any queries please contact Jackie McAndrew, PGR Experience Specialist, The Doctoral College on Jackie.McAndrew@hull.ac.uk
