University of Hull staff and students can sign up to our new Digital Researcher course. Delivered online over seven days, it covers everything you needed to get started as a digitally savvy researcher.

About the course
The Digital Researcher will only take you less than an hour a day. You can do this anytime in the day - so it is completely flexible to your workload of the day. The course is delivered online through Canvas so you can take part wherever you are. You just need access to the internet.
The course is split into two segments. The first three days focus on online networking and scholarly communication. The final two days focus on conducting online research.

Friday 2nd July | Ethics & Research Data Management (RDM) [core activity] Secure & safe working for digital research |
Saturday 3rd July & Sunday 4th July | Catch-up The course remains open for the weekend to give you a chance to catch-up and complete activities |
Week commencing Monday 5th July | Digital you - your online identity Reflections and future planning, including a live Twitter chat |
