The Digital Teacher - AI special
University of Hull staff can sign up for our new Digital Teacher course. Delivered online over five days, it covers the main conversations we're having around the impact of generative AI on education.
About the course
This course will only take you less than an hour a day. You can do this anytime in the day - so it is completely flexible to your workload of the day. The course is delivered online through Canvas so you can take part wherever you are. You just need access to the internet.
Course outline
The course structure is set out as follows:

Tuesday | Using AI in your teaching [core activity] Using AI to support development of accessible and engaging curricula and resources |
Wednesday |
Students use of AI [core activity] Exploring the ways in which students are engaging with AI and how we can support them |
Thursday | Assessment considerations [core activity] Exploring options for effective assessment approaches |
Friday | Wider impact [core activity] How AI might impact across broader work practices. |
Saturday | Catch-up The course remains open for the weekend to give you chance to catch-up and complete activities |
