Academic Integrity
Academic integrity focuses on honesty in all aspects of your studies and/or research. Academic integrity is fundamental to not only your reputation but also the reputation of the University. The University of Hull is committed to developing high standards of academic practice among its students and also to safeguarding the standards of its academic awards by detecting and acting upon cases of academic misconduct.
This guide focuses on how you can ensure you approach all of your work with integrity. In doing so, it is important to avoid cheating behaviours, and so this guide will make you aware of some of the different forms of academic misconduct you need to avoid.
This guide is intended as a friendly primer to the topic of integrity and does not replace any University regulations or policies on academic misconduct.
