Overview
This workshop will raise your awareness of the variety of accents in the UK. We will discuss accents in your own country and accents in the UK. We will watch a series of short videos and discuss your understanding of the speaker and how an accent can influence our perception of people.
Learning Outcomes
In this workshop, we will:
Gain knowledge about different varieties of British accents
Practise active listening skills
Participate in a group discussion using compare and contrast language
Develop vocabulary
