Papyrus

Papyrus offer confidential support and advice for young people with thoughts of suicide. The Helpline is available to anyone under the age of 35 who is experiencing thoughts of suicide, or anyone concerned that someone else is thinking about suicide. Contact them by calling 0800 0684141.

 

Let’s Talk

Let’s Talk provide talking therapy and counselling services. You must be registered with a Hull GP in order to access the service and can self-refer by calling 01482 247111. You can have an appointment with Let's Talk on campus - just tell them that you're a student when you first get in touch through their website or by calling 01482 247111.

 

Student Space

Student Space offers support to students during the coronavirus pandemic. There are three ways that Student Space can help during the pandemic:

  1. Access to dedicated support services for students, by phone or text
  2. Information and tools to help you through the challenges of coronavirus
  3. Helping you find what support is available at your university

The support provided by Student Space is safe, confidential and developed with students and experts in student wellbeing and mental health. Student Space is run by Student Minds, the UK’s student mental health charity. It has been developed collaboratively with services, higher education professionals, researchers and students to complement the existing services available to students.
