Using your Reading Lists
Reading Lists for each block are found in their respective sections of Blackboard.
Click the Reading List link in the contents menu at the left of the screen to access the Reading List for that block.
Here's an example list:
Use the Contents list to skip to a section of interest
Readings are broken into weekly or thematic sections
Items may be labelled according to their role in the list. This one is a must-read!
Notes appear after the item details. These may give suggested chapters or information about electronic access
Use the e-link to go straight to an electronic version of the item (if the item is available at both sites, both windows will open)
Use the Find at Hull
and Find It @ York
buttons to check for the item in the library catalogues (the catalogues will open in a new tab / window)
Have a look for your lists
Click the Blackboard tab at the top of the page to visit Blackboard and see if your lists have been uploaded. Then you can start planning some actual reading!
