The library has a lot of stuff, but unfortunately we can't fit in everything. If you've searched the library catalogue and we don't have a particular book, or if we don't have access to an article you feel you need, here are some options you may wish to consider:
The following is a list of library catalogues that may prove a good starting point for looking elsewhere and seeing which libraries hold the books you would like to view.
The Inter Library Loans Service enables you to obtain items that we do not have in our own stock of books, periodicals and electronic resources; most requests are made through the British Library.
The service is available to all members of the Library and there is a charge for each request, based on national tariffs. You will be allocated a number of free requests by the library, and you may be able to obtain departmental authorisation. Otherwise you will need to meet the cost yourself.
Students, is there a book you would like the library to buy?
(Academic staff requesting material for teaching should use the reading list software to make orders.)
