Online Tutorial: Advanced search in Summon

Summon enables you to search across the majority of the library’s electronic resources, and link through to the full-text of these. The service is made available currently as a one-year pilot and all feedback is welcome on how you find using it, via the Feedback link in Summon (see top right of the search results screen), our Wallwisher wall, or via libhelp@hull.ac.uk.

If you have difficulty linking to an item please let us know – improvements to the service will be made continuously throughout the pilot.

The redevelopment of the Brynmor Jones Library is an ambitious, multi-million pound project to transform the Library into a modern, flexible, technology-enhanced learning environment meeting the needs of all its users.
