The library has an extensive collection to support learning, teaching and research. If you have searched the library catalogue and we do not have a particular book, or have access to an article you would like, here are some options you may wish to consider.
SCONUL Access is a scheme that allows members of the University Library to use other higher education libraries. You may be able to visit to study and use books and journals, or you may be eligible to borrow. For instructions on how to sign up, see the SCONUL Access helpsheet.
You can also use the British Library. For information about visiting the reading rooms, see the British Library site
The following is a list of library catalogues that may prove a good starting point for looking elsewhere and seeing which libraries hold the books you would like to view.
The Inter Library Loans Service enables you to obtain items that we do not have in our own stock of books, journals and electronic resources. To apply for a loan please complete this form.
The service is available to all members of the Library. You will be allocated a number of free requests by the library. You may request additional items and you will need to meet the cost yourself.
