Reading List Support Material: Adding Journals

The bookmarklet tool

To add items to your reading list you will need to have bookmarklet tool installed. This will appear in your toolbar as or may already be there as

Adding a whole journal (electronic)

1. Find the journal on the library catalogue and click on the title

2. Copy the web address at the top of the screen:

3. Click

4.  Add a ‘Web address’ field   and paste in the link copied from the library catalogue

5. Ensure the Online Resource box is ticked

6.  Either which will add the bookmark straight to your list OR simply click on and you can add it to the list at a later date

Adding a whole journal (print)

  1. Find the journal on the library catalogue and click on the title

  2. Click

  3. Make sure the resource type is set to Journal

  4.. Either  which will add the bookmark straight to your list
     OR   simply click on and you can add it to the list at a later date

If you don't see the bookmark you've created when you go into your reading list, click on the refresh button from your browser
